The Black Pyramid is a place of worship. It is a temple built in order to praise: photography, light, perception and reality. It is an entrance into another realm. It will lead to the underworld-an underworld of my discovery, where man and nature and god are mixed together seamlessly. It is my black lodge and its true force remains to be discovered.

In Sweden I have relearned what light is. Here in the north, the light is inescapable. One feels for the first time that they are bound to this earth and its movements. But the light also begins to reveal the nature of reality, its inconsistent, wavering, tenebrous nature that prevents us from understanding it in its entirety. The Black Pyramid will grant access to a clearer glimpse of reality and a universal consciousness. It will be a portal between the world that we experience everyday and the world that exists beyond.
