The Black Pyramid is a place of worship. It is a temple built in order to praise: photography, light, perception and reality. It is an entrance into another realm.

Living in Sweden, I rediscovered what light is. Far in the north the light is inescapable. One feels for the first time that they are bound to this earth and its movements. The light begins to reveal the nature of reality, its inconsistent, wavering, tenebrous nature that prevents us from understanding it in its entirety. The Black Pyramid grants access to a shadowy glimpse of this reality and a universal consciousness. It is a portal between the world that we experience everyday and the world that exists beyond.
